The Lumicryst Desert is the sixth region counted on the Asviyra continent. It is located between Chös, the Tero Canyons, the Sostos Mountains, the Vantor Sea, and Savaloria. As its name suggests, it is a desert with an arid climate, averaging between 10 and 42 degrees Celsius.
The region is widely known for its unusual obelisk-like pillars and massive crystalline structures, ranging from 1 to 5 meters in height, which appear to connect the land below with the land above.
The Lumicryst Desert is one of the three Lumicryst Regions. Similar to Savaloria Lake, Lumicryst Lake is largely surrounded by the desert, with only a single opening connecting it to the Vantor Sea. While connected to the Molonari Cave System, the Lumicryst Caves are considered a separate region due to the presence of the large crystals that allow sunlight to penetrate deep underground, a feature not found within the Molonari Caves.
