Vahiiems is the first continent of Astracel, located in the Northern Hemisphere and entirely surrounded by the Kryntyl Sea. The continent consists of three distinct regions: a polar arctic region, a tundra region, and a cold, wetland swamp-like region. The overall temperature averages between -75 and 6 degrees Celsius.
The polar arctic region covers roughly half of the continent. The tundra makes up another quarter and is directly connected by land, while the remaining quarter consists of the swamp region, which is separated and connected by sea.
Vahiiems contains relatively little flora, but it is home to many unique fauna species. These creatures inhabit the continent for various reasons, whether it be hunting for food, resting for extended periods, or raising and teaching their young the ways of life.
A few arctic bases can also be found on Vahiiems, often buried beneath the vast snow and surrounded by thick layers of ice.
