Spevs are a worker-class Estalon belonging to the Wynoniem Family, scientifically dubbed the Wynovipera Cornuta. They serve directly under the family’s enigmatic queen and are easily recognizable by their pale green hue. While their coloration might suggest an aptitude for hunting, the mountain region bordering the Razmerath Forest, where they are primarily born, does not lend itself well to such behavior. Even when emerging into grassy areas, their pale coloring proves ineffective for camouflage against the darker, muted tones of the forest. Rather than hunters, Spevs are renowned for their ability to construct vast underground tunnel networks, which serve as living quarters and operational facilities for all Wynoniem members. Though generally harmless, they act as the final line of defense if an intruder breaches the nest. When threatened, a Spev will lash out with either its sharp horn or its tail, both of which are coated in a deadly neurotoxic poison known as Hermodox. Its potency is so great that it can harm, and in some cases even kill rock-based lifeforms.
